AI has become a powerful part of everyday life, influencing how we create, communicate, and make decisions. From generating images and videos to assisting in research, design, and education, its impact continues to grow at a rapid pace. With this growth comes a new challenge: understanding where AI is being used and being able to distinguish between human created and machine generated content when it truly matters. The goal of this project is not to oppose AI, but to promote awareness and responsible use. Image detection is one part of a much larger picture that includes authenticity, trust, and digital literacy in an AI driven world.
From a technical perspective, detecting AI generated content is an evolving problem rather than a solved one. Models are constantly changing, and no detector can claim perfect accuracy. This tool is built with that reality in mind. It focuses on identifying common visual patterns while remaining transparent about its limitations. Running the detection entirely in the browser reflects a core design principle: users should be able to explore AI tools without sacrificing privacy or control over their data. As AI continues to expand into higher stakes areas like journalism, education, security, and creative work, tools like this aim to support better judgment rather than replace it. This project represents an ongoing effort to learn, adapt, and contribute thoughtfully to a future where AI is powerful, accessible, and used with care.
